Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lathe Operator located in Chennai. The Lathe Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining lathe machines to produce high-quality components as per engineering drawings and specifications. Key responsibilities include interpreting technical and engineering drawings, performing regular machine maintenance, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of machined parts. Additionally, the Lathe Operator will collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and maintain a safe working environment. Qualifications Proficiency in operating and handling lathe machines, with knowledge of Machine Operation and Milling Strong understanding of Technical Drawing and the ability to interpret Engineering Drawings Experience with performing routine Maintenance of lathe machines Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and safety in all operations Prior experience in a similar role and familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus Relevant technical or vocational training in machining or related fields is preferred
