We are urgently looking for a certified IBR Welder for our ongoing C&I erection, testing, and commissioning work at Korba. The welder will be responsible for carrying out pipe welding, steam line welding, and high-pressure welding. Required Candidate profile IBR certified welder with 3+ years of experience in power plant piping, steam line, and high-pressure welding. Able to read P&IDs and follow safety & quality standards at thermal project sites.
Responsible for installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of control and instrumentation systems, cable laying, termination, and field instrument support at project sites. Required Candidate profile Diploma/ITI with 2–5 yrs exp in C&I skilled in cabling, wiring, calibration, testing & commissioning of Control and Instrumentation systems
Role & responsibilities Plan & execute pre-commissioning: continuity/megger, loop checks, I/O verification, simulations, logic/interlock trials on DCS/PLC. Calibrate & commission transmitters, control valves/positioners, RTDs/TCs, gauges, analyzers; verify signal ranges/scaling. Supervise cable terminations, JB/Marshaller checks, polarity/earthing/shielding; resolve wiring and signal issues. Conduct cold/hot commissioning, cause-and-effect and trip tests, alarm rationalization; support first-fire/synchronization as required. Troubleshoot field/DCS problems; drive punch-point closure with client/OEMs; ensure system readiness for handover. Prepare/maintain ITP/ITR, loop folders, calibration reports, red-markups and as-built docs; submit daily DPR/progress. Enforce PTW/LOTO and EHS requirements; lead toolbox talks/JSA; ensure safe work at all times. Plan manpower, test equipment and consumables; raise material/tool requests in time. Preferred candidate profile BE/B.Tech (Instrumentation/E&I/ECE) or Diploma (Instrumentation). 3 to 4 years in C&I commissioning for power/process/utility projects; at least one full start-up preferred. Hands-on with any major DCS/PLC, HART communicator, multimeter, pressure/temperature calibrators. Strong reading of P&IDs, ILDs, hook-ups, loop diagrams, cable schedules; good MS Office/reporting skills. Exposure to package systems (ESP, analyzers/CEMS, water/air systems, turbine/boiler auxiliaries) is a plus. Clear communication (English/Hindi), coordination with client/OEMs, ownership mindset; ready for shifts/extended hours. Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days preferred
