The Quality Assurance Officer will act as the link between production and quality control, ensuring that manufacturing processes meet internal and external quality standards. The role is responsible for granting production approvals based on quality observations and fostering alignment between QA and QC teams to drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities ● Develop, implement, and update quality management systems (QMS) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the organization. ● Plan and supervise quality tests and inspections to ensure conformance to product specifications and regulatory standards. ● Track defect rates, analyze performance data, and lead process improvement initiatives to reduce waste, rework, and non-compliance. ● Conduct internal and supplier audits in alignment with ISO, GMP, and customer-specific requirements. ● Investigate and resolve customer complaints, ensuring documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation. ● Prepare and present management reports linking quality metrics to business outcomes and recommending strategic improvements. ● Collaborate closely with production, QC, and global customers to ensure consistent quality standards and smooth cross-functional coordination. Qualifications & Experience ● Education: M.Sc. in Chemistry ● Experience: 3+ years in a QA department within the Pharmaceutical, Fine Chemical, or Cosmetic industry ● Knowledge Requirements: ○ Strong understanding of QA/QC functions and GMP documentation ○ Experience in internal/external ISO and customer audits ○ Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality frameworks Skills & Attributes ● Strong analytical and problem-solving ability ● Attention to detail and structured documentation approach ● Excellent communication and collaboration skills ● Innovative, system-oriented, and capable of building processes from scratch ● High accountability and ownership mindset
