Role & responsibilities Three to five year's experience in a production or research environment Experience in EIL approved companies will be preferred 1. Develop manufacturing processes that minimize waste and increase the quality of finished products 2. Monitor and test processes and products found in all phases of production 3. Develop and implement safety procedures for staff working with hazardous materials 4. Design, plan and implement the layout of manufacturing equipment to optimize production and decrease costs 5. Use computers to compile and analyze data 6. Establish safety and waste management procedures 7. Travel to work sites and locations to learn about project needs and design 8. Assist with establishing budgets and timelines 9. Applied knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques 10. Perform chemical analysis and physical property testing of materials and products. 11. Research, design, and develop new processes. 12. Coordinate and perform tests. 13. Evaluate current processes and develop improvements to safety, quality, and efficiency. 14. Create standards and specifications for processes, facilities, products and tests. 15. Assist in the establishment of timelines and budgets. 16.
