hef de Partie (CDP) – South Indian / North Indian Cuisine Location: [Insert Location – e.g., Morjim, Goa] Department: Kitchen / Culinary Reports To: Sous Chef / Head Chef / Executive Chef Experience Required: Min 2 Years in Similar Role Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in South Indian or North Indian cuisine to join our culinary team. You will be responsible for managing and executing all dishes within your assigned section, ensuring authenticity, flavor consistency, and high hygiene standards. The role requires hands-on experience and a deep understanding of regional Indian culinary techniques. Key Responsibilities: Take full responsibility for the South Indian or North Indian kitchen section , ensuring consistent preparation and presentation Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant’s standards and traditional recipes Maintain authentic taste, texture, and presentation of regional dishes Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and FSSAI compliance in your section at all times Train and supervise commis chefs and support staff in your section Monitor inventory for your section and assist in placing ingredient orders Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to create new dishes or specials Control wastage, ensure proper food storage, and follow kitchen SOPs Handle kitchen equipment and cooking tools specific to Indian cuisine Requirements: Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management 2–5 years of experience as CDP or DCDP with focus on Indian cuisine Specialization in South Indian (e.g., dosa, idli, sambar, chettinad) or North Indian (e.g., curries, tandoor, gravies) Sound knowledge of ingredients, spices, and regional techniques Strong communication and team management skills Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have as a CDP or DCDP in a professional kitchen?
