Job Overview

As a Channel Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building, nurturing, and expanding HydroNest’s B2B channel network. You will actively identify potential dealers, distributors, stockists, and contractors, present our product line, negotiate commercial terms, and onboard strategic channel partners. Your primary focus will be driving secondary and primary sales throughput across your assigned territory while maintaining long-term partner relationships.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Expansion & Partner Onboarding

• Identify, evaluate, and recruit new dealers, distributors, stockists, and trade partners across assigned target regions.
• Pitch HydroNest product catalogues, commercial schemes, margin structures, and warranty support to potential business partners.
• Conduct market mapping and territory planning to uncover untapped channel opportunities.

2. Channel & Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarded dealers and distributors.
• Regularly visit channel partners, evaluate inventory levels, collect feedback, and ensure timely reordering (secondary sales generation).
• Drive partner engagement through promotional schemes, seasonal incentives, and product marketing updates.

3. Sales Execution & Target Achievement

• Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual channel sales targets for primary and secondary volumes.
• Support channel partners in closing large B2B, industrial, or institutional orders by delivering joint client presentations or site visits.
• Manage credit limits, payment cycles, and timely collections from dealers to maintain healthy cash flow.

4. Partner Enablement & Market Intelligence

• Organize product training sessions for dealers and their sales teams to ensure strong product knowledge.
• Track local market trends, competitor pricing, scheme structures, and new product launches, reporting insights back to management.
• Manage conflict resolution related to territorial overlaps or price undercutting among channel partners.

5. Reporting & CRM

• Log daily field visits, partner meetings, pipeline leads, and order forecasts into the company CRM/ERP.
• Provide weekly/monthly regional sales reports to the sales management team.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration, Marketing, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field (IT/CS graduates with strong sales acumen are also welcome).
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in channel sales, dealer management, or field sales within water treatment, pumps, building materials, industrial equipment, or HVAC sectors.
• Network & Market Knowledge: Existing network of trade dealers, industrial suppliers, or plumbing/water equipment distributors in Maharashtra/Pune is a huge plus.
• Interpersonal & Pitching Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with an approachable personality that builds trust easily.
• Mindset: Strong sense of ownership, "can-do" attitude, proactive problem solver, and eager to learn technical product details.
• Mobility: Willingness to undertake local travel for client meetings and dealer visits within assigned territories.
