We're looking for a skilled and proactive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Supervisor to join our facilities team. In this role, you'll ensure the smooth functioning of all essential building systems across our school campus — from HVAC and electrical to plumbing and fire safety. If you have a strong technical background and a hands-on approach to maintenance, we’d love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: 1. Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Ventilation, Fire Safety) Oversee daily operations and maintenance of air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems in classrooms, labs, staff rooms, and auditoriums. Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of elevators and lifts. Maintain and regularly inspect fire safety systems — including extinguishers, alarms, smoke detectors, and sprinklers. Ensure compliance with fire safety norms and conduct routine fire safety checks. 2. Electrical Systems Manage and troubleshoot electrical panels, lighting systems, wiring, and power backup units (generators and UPS). Ensure safe and reliable power supply throughout the campus — including classrooms, admin blocks, and labs. Conduct preventive maintenance to avoid electrical faults, short circuits, or overloads. Liaise with vendors for repair or replacement of faulty electrical equipment. 3. Plumbing Systems Oversee water supply and drainage systems to ensure continuous water availability for restrooms, kitchens, and science labs. Handle maintenance and repairs for taps, pipelines, pumps, storage tanks, and water treatment systems. Supervise periodic cleaning and inspection of sumps, septic tanks, and water filters. Monitor any rainwater harvesting or water recycling systems on campus. 4. Routine Maintenance & Safety Checks Plan and execute regular preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. Perform routine inspections (daily/weekly/monthly) of all key systems. Maintain accurate logs of service activities, inspection records, and regulatory compliance documents. Respond promptly to facility-related issues, complaints, or emergencies. 5. Compliance & Vendor Coordination Ensure all systems are in line with local government, fire department, electrical board, and pollution control norms. Coordinate with third-party vendors and contractors for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), upgrades, and service calls. 6. Support During School Events & Projects Provide technical support for school activities, including events, exams, and meetings — ensuring AV equipment, lighting, and climate control systems are fully functional. Assist with infrastructure projects such as building renovations or setting up new facilities (labs, auditoriums, etc.). Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (preferred) Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in facility or MEP maintenance, ideally in an institutional or educational setting Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems Ability to read technical diagrams and manage maintenance records Good communication and vendor coordination skills Hands-on, reliable, and proactive attitude Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location: In person
