KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Recruitment : Resumes collection from various sources. Screening resumes Telephonic interview with candidates Face to Face round interview of shortlisted candidates. Interview organizing etc. Maintaining candidate’s database and resumes database in excel sheet. Employees Joining & Induction Formalities Issue the offer letter EDR form, agreement and other formalities All original document check & verification All policies briefing Providing accommodation & fooding facility Employee Service : Responsible for employee facility related grievance handling. Issue warning letter, suspension letter, experience certificate etc. Making employee database in excel sheet and also maintaining their personnel file. All facility management of the unit. Compliance Management: To ensure timely renew of admin related agreement, licenses etc. Monthly EPF return generates & handling all EPF related issues. Exit Management : Ensure completion of exit formalities of the outgoing employee. Conduct exit interview Ensure handing over of company belongings by the outgoing employee. Employee Engagement : Executing employee engagement activity like as Birthday, Anniversary or organizing other official announcements. Attendance & Salary : Maintaining daily attendance, leave, absent etc. Preparation of monthly attendance & salary sheet. Performance Management System Training & Development Yearly performance appraisals Responsible for Administration activities like as :- Housekeeping Canteen Dress code Transportation Printing and stationery Office maintenance etc. Security management . Taking care of Company Guest House. Position Overview The Manager – Training & Development will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring training programs aimed at enhancing the sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and customer service skills of retail staff. This role ensures the continuous development of employees to drive sales performance, improve customer experience, and support overall business growth. Key Responsibilities Training Strategy & Planning Develop and execute training strategies aligned with retail sales goals. Identify skill gaps through performance analysis, feedback, and sales results. Prepare annual/quarterly training calendars. Program Design & Delivery Design engaging training modules (classroom, on-the-job, e-learning, role plays). Deliver induction training for new hires and refresher training for existing staff. Create product knowledge sessions, upselling & cross-selling techniques, and customer service training. Performance & Impact Measurement Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and sales KPIs. Track productivity improvement post-training and suggest corrective measures. Maintain training MIS, reports, and dashboards for management. Team & Stakeholder Management Collaborate with Store Managers, HR, and Sales Heads to align training with business needs. Mentor and guide in-house trainers or external training partners. Build a culture of continuous learning within the retail teams. Content Development & Innovation Develop manuals, SOPs, sales scripts, and digital learning content. Introduce innovative training methods (gamification, simulations, VR-based learning if applicable). Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of retail sales processes and customer service. Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to analyze data and measure training impact on sales performance. Knowledge of modern training tools (LMS, e-learning platforms). Leadership and people development skills. Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Retail Management, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in Training & Development, preferably in retail sales .
