Instrument Engineer Location: Sanand, Near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Experience: 810 Years Qualification: B.E. – Instrumentation Engineering Industry: Semiconductor / Process / Automation Role Summary: We are looking for an experienced Instrument Engineer to join our team at our Sanand facility near Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in instrumentation and controls engineering , particularly in a semiconductor or OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test) production environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage instrumentation and controls engineering activities across OSAT production processes. Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs to optimize production and system performance. Execute start-up, commissioning , and integration of equipment, processes, and facility controls. Collaborate with process, equipment, and facility teams to ensure effective automation and system reliability. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to instrumentation and control systems. Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and operational protocols. Candidate Profile: B.E. in Instrumentation Engineering 5–10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems Strong hands-on knowledge of PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting Experience in start-up and commissioning of automated equipment and systems Exposure to process or automation industries is highly desirable Strong analytical, communication, and team coordination skills Preferred Skills: Experience with SCADA systems, sensors, transmitters, and industrial communication protocols Familiarity with ISO and safety standards related to equipment automation Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics
