Sales Engineer We are seeking a Sales Engineer with 2 to 3yrs of experience to join our renewable energy team and drive sales growth within India, focusing on our SCADA, Power Plant Control, Asset Performance Management Software & other solutions. You will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities and managing key accounts. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the success of our clients in the competitive landscape of renewable energy. Roles & Responsibilities At CES NeoSilica, We develop intelligent software and hardware solutions designed to capture data from diverse sources and transform it into actionable insights focusing on Renewable energy sector. At CES NeoSilica, We serve a diverse client base, Asset Owners, Utilities, EPCs, and Developers. Leveraging our extensive experience in renewables, we excel in understanding and meeting the unique requirements of each client. We are seeking a sales engineer who can further drive our mission forward. While experience in the sector and in-depth expertise in wind, solar, and BESS technologies are advantageous, they are not prerequisites. As Sales Engineer , your responsibilities will include: · Demonstrating a strong hunter’s mindset and effective communication skills across all levels of the organization. · Contributing to and implementing the business plan for the India (e.g., executing the plans and driving growth within the defined customer segments. · Managing individual account strategies for key customers. · Acquiring new accounts while increasing sales with existing customers. · Identifying and analyzing new potential customer segments. · Provide input for optimizing the sales strategy by applying analytical competencies and commercial acumen to understand and leverage market trends and insights. Background & Qualifications, To excel in this role, we are looking for an individual who: · Bachelor’s degree B.E / B.Tech as a minimum in a relevant field, preferably with experience from the renewable energy sector (wind, solar, BESS, hybrid). · Possesses a high level of personal drive and a strong determination to succeed. · Has achieved and can demonstrate strong sales results. · Brings experience in selling SCADA and Automation software solutions including SaaS and can negotiate with stakeholders on all levels. · Is motivated by the challenge of developing new business opportunities from scratch. · Can take the initiative in identifying new opportunities and successfully close deals with customers. · Is adept at building and maintaining contacts, demonstrating dynamism, adaptability, self- motivation, and quick thinking. · Is fluent in English and Hindi. · Shows a natural interest in technology and/or software solutions. Role Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join our Power Systems & Grid Controls team.In this role, you will support the design, development, and deployment of advanced grid control software solutions that enhance the efficiency, resilience, and intelligence of modern power systems. Key Responsibilities · Develop and maintain software solutions for grid control, monitoring, and optimization. · Integrate third party platforms with Neos SCADA, Neos PPC and Neos EMS systems. · Work with utility clients to understand operational requirements and translate them into product features. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, power systems engineers, and data scientists. · Perform system analysis, modelling, and simulation of grid operations under various scenarios · Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Neos SCADA and Neos PPC and Neos EMS deployments. · Ensure cybersecurity, compliance, and system interoperability standards are met. Required Qualifications · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Power Systems, or a related field. · Experience with Power Pant Control Systems (PPC), energy management systems (EMS), or SCADA platforms. · Knowledge of grid operations, load forecasting, distributed energy resources (DER), and renewable integration. · Proficiency in software development (Python, Java, C++, etc.) or grid modelling tools (PSSE, PSCAD, OpenDSS, etc.) · Familiarity with communication protocols like DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus. · Exposure to cloud platforms and IoT technologies in the energy sector · Understanding of regulatory and cybersecurity standards (NERC CIP, IEEE standards, etc.) · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
