This is a full-time, unpaid, voluntary role ideal for individuals seeking to apply their design skills to real-world policy engagement and global communication. What will you do: As a Design Intern, you will contribute to the visual identity and communication outputs of CMSD, ensuring our work is not only impactful in content but also in presentation. You’ll work on a range of design tasks that support our mission to promote strategic thinking and inclusive global discourse. Key responsibilities: • Designing social media graphics, infographics, and publication layouts • Creating visual assets for blogs, reports, and CMSD campaigns • Supporting the development of presentations and branded materials • Collaborating with the editorial, research, and outreach teams • Ensuring design consistency across all CMSD content and platforms What you’ll gain: • Certificate of Internship and a performance-based Letter of Recommendation • Direct experience designing for a think tank-style environment • Portfolio of published work on an emerging international platform • Exposure to policy communication, multilateral discourse, and digital outreach • Opportunity to grow in a professional network and receive mentorship from CMSD leads Who fits best: This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates in graphic design, visual communication, media, or related fields. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Design Fellow to join our international team, bringing visual storytelling to the forefront of global discourse. This is an opportunity, offering a unique chance to work with an international team representing 8+ countries and contribute to impactful policy and communication initiatives. What You Will Do Develop engaging social media graphics, infographics, and publication layouts. Create compelling visual assets for blogs, reports, campaigns, and presentations. Support branding and visual identity development across digital platforms. Collaborate with research, editorial, and outreach teams to visually translate ideas.
