As the Senior Business Development Manager at Cellarium Construction Private Limited, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business growth by overseeing the entire life cycle of high-end construction projects. Your responsibilities will encompass leading projects from client acquisition to final handover, ensuring seamless delivery while upholding the company's values of quality, innovation, and personalized service. You will be tasked with taking complete ownership of assigned projects, managing client acquisition, approvals, contracts, execution, completion, and handover processes. Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in commercial, residential, and institutional sectors will be a key aspect of your role, leveraging existing networks and market research to secure contracts. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders will be essential in successfully delivering boutique construction solutions. Your duties will also involve overseeing the development, submission, and negotiation of project bids, proposals, and contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals. Collaboration with internal teams such as engineering, procurement, and site management will be necessary to ensure clarity of scope, timelines, quality standards, and deliverables throughout the project. Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities will inform your business strategies and recommendations to management. Additionally, you will be required to prepare and review financial projections and budgets for projects, ensuring profitability and compliance with company and legal requirements. Providing regular project updates, risk assessments, and performance reports to senior leadership, and taking proactive measures to address project challenges or client issues promptly will be part of your responsibilities. Actively representing Cellarium at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to uphold the company's reputation as a leader in boutique luxury construction will also be expected. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline, along with at least 8-12 years of proven business development experience in the construction or real estate sectors. Demonstrated ability to independently manage and deliver complex, high-value projects, excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills, as well as deep knowledge of construction processes, tendering, contracts, and local regulatory frameworks are essential. A strategic thinker with outstanding leadership, analytical, and organizational skills, and proficiency in English (written & spoken) with Tamil proficiency as an advantage will be preferred. Desirable attributes include an entrepreneurial mindset, a passion for luxury construction, and bespoke client service, proven ability to work independently while leading project teams towards common goals, high integrity, professionalism, and commitment to quality and excellence.
