CCTV TECHNICIAN TRAINEE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented CCTV Technician Trainee to join our security systems team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals interested in learning how to install, maintain, and troubleshoot CCTV and surveillance systems. The trainee will work under the supervision of experienced technicians and receive hands-on training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist senior technicians with installation of CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related equipment.
• Help with basic system testing, configuration, and maintenance.
• Learn how to run and secure cables (coaxial, Ethernet, fiber where applicable).
• Perform basic troubleshooting of cameras, power supplies, and network connections.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and company installation standards.
• Document work performed and report issues to supervisors.
• Provide basic on-site support when required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Interest in electronics, security systems, or networking.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of tools and electrical safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
