About the Role

S-VYASA University is seeking a dedicated CCTV Technician to manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems across the campus. The role is crucial in ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of surveillance systems.
• Ensure proper cabling, wiring, and network configuration for cameras.
• Maintain system records, service reports, and equipment documentation.
• Provide first-level technical support for security systems to staff/security team.
• Ensure compliance with safety and university security protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Hardware, or related field.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in CCTV installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, and access control integration.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, LAN setup).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle fieldwork within the campus.

Preferred

• Experience with biometric, access control, or alarm systems.
• Vendor certifications (Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, or equivalent).
