Job Description Position: Business Development Manager/Director -Automation (Apple Supply Chain) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Development professional to lead and grow our automation business within the Apple supply chain ecosystem. The role requires strong expertise in supply chain automation solutions (AGV/AMR, ASRS, Robotics, Conveyor Systems, ESS, etc.), coupled with proven experience in building strategic relationships and driving revenue growth in high-tech manufacturing environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute business development strategies focused on automation opportunities within Apples supply chain network. Identify and engage with Apple’s suppliers, integrators, and manufacturing partners to promote our automation solutions. Build strong C-level and operational-level relationships across Apple’s ecosystem. Collaborate with technical and project delivery teams to design and propose tailored automation solutions. Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term partnership agreements. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in automation for continuous business growth. Drive cross-functional coordination (Engineering, Project Management, After-Sales Service) to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Requirements 10–15+ years of experience in automation, robotics, or supply chain solutions (preferably in electronics/Apple ecosystem). Strong network and working relationships within Apple’s global/local supply chain partners. Proven track record in business development, key account management, and solution sales. Deep understanding of automation technologies (AGV/AMR, ASRS, robotics, conveyors, warehouse systems, ESS, etc.). Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Willingness to travel across India and internationally as required. Preferred Background Candidates with direct experience working with Apple suppliers/integrators (Foxconn, Wistron, Pegatron, Flex, etc.). Prior experience in large-scale automation or industrial solution selling. MBA or equivalent management qualification (preferred, not mandatory).
