Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and customer interactions. Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines. Clearly explain complex technical issues to customers and communicate professionally with other teams. Assess functionality and prepare reports, and sometimes make recommendations for repairs or replacements. For field technicians, this can include managing a company vehicle, tracking software, and inventory of parts. Install new equipment and perform routine, preventative maintenance on existing systems to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Diagnose errors or technical problems with equipment (mechanical, electrical, or software issues) and determine the proper solutions for timely repairs. Provide on-site technical support, guidance, and training to customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance.
