Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Clinical Duties: Provide advanced nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Assist with the preparation, monitoring, and recovery of patients undergoing angiography, PCI, pacemaker insertions, ablations, and other cardiac procedures. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to emergencies in accordance with ACLS protocols. Maintain sterile technique and support physicians during procedures by managing equipment and patient monitoring. Leadership & Supervision: Supervise and mentor junior nurses and support staff. Lead team briefings, debriefings, and ensure appropriate allocation of staff across procedures. Support the induction and training of new staff members and student nurses. Operational Management: Coordinate scheduling of procedures in collaboration with cardiologists and other departments. Monitor and maintain equipment, stock levels, and infection control compliance. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records. Participate in audits, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
