About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Sand Casting and CNC Machining processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control, quality assurance, and process improvement techniques within a precision manufacturing environment. This role demands both technical knowledge and analytical skills to ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Quality Control & Assurance: Inspect and monitor products manufactured through sand casting and CNC machining. Conduct first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections. Develop and implement quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards. Testing & Measurements: Operate and manage quality instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, CMM, and other measuring tools. Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments. Analyze metallurgical properties and surface finish parameters to maintain casting and machining standards. Process Improvement: Identify defects, root causes, and propose corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). Work closely with the production and design teams to resolve quality-related issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma practices. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare quality reports, inspection records, and maintain ISO/TS documentation. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and organizational quality systems. Handle internal and external audits (ISO, IATF, or customer audits). Customer & Vendor Interaction: Address customer complaints related to quality and implement effective corrective measures. Collaborate with suppliers/vendors to ensure incoming raw materials and outsourced processes meet quality standards.
