Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform error free billing with speed and accuracy as per defined norms
Handle all tenders at the cash counter as per defined norms (cash, credit cards, debit cards, credit notes, GV transactions etc.)
Adhere to the defined billing process
Check and ensure smooth working of the infra at the tills (POS, EDC machines etc.)
Maintain the tills as per the defined standards of hygiene
Consolidate and handover the cash at the end of shift to the Chief Cashier as per norms
Issue and redeem credit notes, GVs and gift items as per defined norms
Adhere to defined standards of customer service to enable a great customer shopping experience at the cash counter
Communicate promotions, offers, discount and gift vouchers to the customers at the cash counter
