Warehouse Operations Supervisor - Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing andcoordinating the daily operations of a designated department withinWarehouse & other departments of the organization. You will manage the dayto day activities, monitor employee performance, and provide guidance andsupport to the team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for smooth day-to-day operations of the floor assigned.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processes are followed on the floor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Supervise and train the new team members of their roles and
responsibilities, ensuring all team members work efficiently and are
equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address any
performance issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the reporting manager/senior
management, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other departments or teams to achieve overall
organizational goals and objectives.
  • Prepare reports, track key performance indicators, and provide regular
updates to management.

Requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse role in terms of handling
the inventory with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
  • Knowledge of handling inventory.
  • Computer Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, warehouse
management software & data analysis.
  • Language: Kannada (Proficient), Hindi (Not mandatory) & English (Can
interact with basics)
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate,
train & develop staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to
prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
communicate effectively with staff, Vendor, and senior management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address
issues quickly and effectively.
