Carpenter Apprentice

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Carpentry Instructor who can train and guide lab teacher in the safe and effective use of carpentry tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in woodworking, tool handling, and hands-on teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct practical sessions on carpentry basics, tool usage, and safety.
• Demonstrate correct handling of carpentry tools (manual & power tools).
• Need to give demo for all carpentry tool available in lab

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in using carpentry tools: lathe machine, saws, chisels, hammers, drills, sanding machines, clamps, etc.
• Knowledge of wood types, measurements, and joinery techniques.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to teach safety protocols.

Qualification & Experience:

• ITI / Polytechnic / Diploma in Carpentry, Woodworking, Civil, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in carpentry or as a trainer in a workshop environment.
• Experience in school-based or vocational training setup (preferred).
• Certification from NSDC / Skill India (optional but a plus).

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,026.12 per month

Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
