Location - Kolhapur (MIDC) Salary Range – 35L – 40 L PA Industry - Textile Reports To: Plant Head – Operations Role Summary: Looking to hire a seasoned operations leader to head the stitching floor operations for a high-volume, export-oriented bed-linen company. The role demands deep expertise in overseeing production, workforce, quality, and process efficiency across a multi-shift floor handling 300+ machines and 500+ workers. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (Textile/Engineering preferred) 20–25 years of experience in home textile manufacturing (export-oriented units preferred) Proven experience in managing large-scale stitching operations with multi-product portfolios Must have hands-on experience with industrial engineering principles, floor productivity, and high-quality output. Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills Must be able to speak in English, Marathi & Hindi Job Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the stitching floor managing 300+ sewing machines across multiple shifts ensuring efficiency of various product lines - Quilts (patch & non-patch), comforters (with visible/non-visible tucks), Cushion covers, pillowcases, duvet covers, curtains, Bags, table linens, chair/sofa covers, and decorative items. Optimize manpower using skill matrix and ensure output meets daily production and quality targets. Oversee quilting, embroidery, and stitching machinery performance and maintenance coordination. ETON or conveyor-based stitching systems (if implemented). Standardize work content and improve layout efficiency, material movement, and operator productivity. Implement lean tools like line balancing, takt-time, bottleneck analysis, and time-motion studies. Drive IE initiatives like line balancing, time-motion studies, and cost-per-unit optimization. Ensure adherence to AQL and buyer-specific quality/compliance standards (Walmart, Target, Macy’s). Lead and manage a team of line supervisors, tailors, IE staff, QA technicians, and support personnel (500+ workforce). Collaborate with Cutting, PPC, Merchandising, IE & QA teams for seamless operations. Deliver daily/weekly MIS reports, lead Kaizen projects, and support SAP-based planning.
