Role & responsibilities Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures including Ultrasound, X-ray,CT SCAN, MRI (as applicable). Conduct routine and advanced sonography examinations (abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, gynecology, vascular, small parts, musculoskeletal, etc.). Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and accurate radiology reports within defined turnaround times. Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to assist in patient management. Counsel patients regarding imaging procedures and provide reassurance when necessary. Supervise and guide radiology technicians and sonographers where applicable. Maintain accurate records, reports, and image archiving (PACS/RIS systems). Participate in clinical audits, case discussions, and departmental quality improvement initiatives. Keep updated with recent advances in diagnostic imaging and sonology practices. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications & Requirements MBBS with MD/DNB in Radiology or equivalent qualification. Valid registration with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council. Hands-on experience in Ultrasound and other imaging modalities. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and ethical practice. Compassionate and patient-centered approach. Proficiency with imaging software, PACS, and modern diagnostic equipment.
