Role OverviewWe are looking for a motivated, empathetic, and results-driven Admission Counsellor to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through their entire journey—from the first inquiry to final admission. You will be a trusted advisor, responsible for understanding their career aspirations, providing expert advice on suitable courses and universities, and ensuring a smooth and successful admission process. Key ResponsibilitiesStudent Counselling: Counsel prospective students and their guardians via phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp about our wide range of online and distance learning courses and partner universities. Personalized Guidance: Understand each student's academic background, career goals, and personal interests to provide tailored recommendations for the most suitable programs. Information Management: Clearly and accurately explain the admission procedures, fee structures, eligibility criteria, course curriculum, and benefits of pursuing a degree through distance education. Lead Management: Maintain a detailed and organized database of all student inquiries, interactions, and follow-ups using our CRM system. Application Assistance: Guide students through the entire application process, including online form filling, document verification, and ensuring all required paperwork is submitted correctly and on time. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with students to ensure a high level of satisfaction, which can lead to valuable referrals. Sales & Targets: Proactively follow up with potential leads to convert inquiries into admissions and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets. Stay Updated: Keep yourself constantly updated on the latest trends in online education, new programs, and any changes in university policies. Required Skills and QualificationsExperience: 1-3 years of proven experience in academic counselling, education sales, telesales, or a similar customer-facing role. Experience in the distance education sector will be a significant advantage. Education: A Bachelor's degree in any field is required. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Hindi and English are essential. You must be a clear and confident speaker. Interpersonal Skills: Strong convincing, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Must be patient, empathetic, and have a student-first attitude. Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel), email clients, and basic computer applications. Familiarity with CRM software is highly preferred. Mindset: Must be self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
