Camera (ISP) Systems Modelling Engineer

As an experienced system engineer, you will work on cutting-edge projects related to image processing and computer vision, contributing to the development of embedded camera solutions and advanced computer vision algorithms. **Responsibilities:** - Develop fixed-point implementations and C/C++ models for image processing and associated infrastructure modules - Support hardware verification and software development through behavioral model test vectors - Optimize image processing algorithm complexity and quality trade-offs **Minimum qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - Experience in algorithm design and fixed-point implementation - Strong knowledge of data structures and proficiency in C/C++ programming - Familiarity with UNIX/Win/Linux computing platforms **Preferred qualifications:** - Background in digital signal processing, statistics, and data analysis - Experience with image processing algorithms, color science, and image signal processor pipelines is a plus - Proficiency in MATLAB and Python programming **Educational requirements:** - Required: Bachelor's in Computer Science or Electrical & Computer Engineering - Preferred: Master's in Computer Science or Electrical & Computer Engineering Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing accessible processes for individuals with disabilities.
