Camera Assistant

Job description:

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Camera Assistant to support our production team in shooting high-quality video and visual content. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of basic camera operations, lighting setup, and video editing. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in the media and production field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the cameraman during shoots and ensure smooth camera operations.
• Set up and maintain basic lighting equipment according to shoot requirements.
• Handle camera gear, lenses, tripods, and accessories with care.
• Support video shoots for events,promotional content, and other projects.
• Assist in basic video editing tasks such as trimming, syncing footage, and minor corrections.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and backup of recorded footage.
• Coordinate with the production team to meet shoot schedules and deadlines.

Requirements & Skills

• Basic knowledge of camera handling and shooting techniques.
• Understanding of basic lighting setup for indoor and outdoor shoots.
• Basic knowledge of video editing software (such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and techniques.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Prior experience or training in media, photography, or videography is an advantage.
