FunShortz is a Caimue initiative focused on short-form entertainment: regional stories, creators, memes, and fun, scroll-stopping videos across platforms like YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who enjoys content, keeps things organized, and wants to learn how real content platforms are built and scaled. What you’ll be working on This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one: Managing FunShortz’s social channels (YouTube & Instagram) Uploading and scheduling short films, reels, memes, and entertainment content Assisting with content republishing and branding updates Making sure each video is properly titled, described, and published Following a clean release plan (one video at a time, spaced releases) Coordinating with creators and keeping them informed about reposts Helping with basic performance tracking (views, engagement, growth) Supporting influencer outreach and paid promotions when needed Keeping content assets and tasks neatly organized What we’re looking for Interest in social media, content, and creator culture Comfortable with Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and trends Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Decent written communication (English; Malayalam is a plus) Willingness to learn, experiment, and take responsibility Nice to have (not mandatory) Basic video editing skills Familiarity with tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere / After Effects Experience managing an Instagram page or YouTube channel Understanding of short-form video formats and what performs well Why this role?
