CAE - Optical Testing

You will be part of a global consulting service and systems integrator operating in over 90+ countries, focusing on delivering solutions through digital innovation and robust processes. Your role as an Optical Network Engineer will involve expertise in OTN, DWDM, and ROADM technologies, with a strong emphasis on testing and troubleshooting optical transport technologies. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the performance, reliability, and scalability of optical transport infrastructure, providing technical support for installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of optical networks. Your main tasks will revolve around optical network testing, system integration, network design and implementation, test plan development, DWDM/ROADM configuration, OTN layer operations, monitoring and NMS management, ROADM operations, equipment handling, documentation, and reporting. You will be expected to work with multi-vendor optical network systems, create detailed test plans, configure DWDM systems, handle optical components, and utilize NMS platforms for network monitoring and management. To excel in this role, you should possess strong expertise in OTN, DWDM, and ROADM technologies, familiarity with optical testing tools, proficiency in NMS tools like Ciena OneControl and Nokia NFM-T, excellent troubleshooting skills, knowledge of network protocols, experience with leading optical vendors" equipment, and a solid understanding of layered architectures. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 8 years of experience with a CTC range of 15LPA to 20 LPA and an immediate to 30 days notice period.,
