As a CNC Programmer, your primary responsibility will be to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of GD&T and apply it during the programming process. Utilizing CAD software to create part models and geometry as required will be an essential part of your role. Your expertise in CAM programming on multi-axis mill-turn machines will be crucial in this position. You will also be responsible for using CGTech Vericut for NC file verification before manufacturing release. Determining optimal tooling and cutting parameters based on material and setup will be part of your daily tasks. In this role, you will need to understand and implement work holding for manufacturing processes. You may be required to plan and execute manufacturing processes either independently or as part of a team. Your contribution to continuous improvement efforts, both individually and collaboratively, will be highly valued. Additionally, you will be expected to provide Engineering and Management information that influences part quality or schedule. It will be essential to maintain revision and quality control on programs, tool sheets, and setup documentation. The ideal candidate for this position should have strong CAM experience in multi-axis machining. While experience with Siemens NX, CATIA, and Vericut is preferred, we are willing to provide training to the right candidate. Proficiency in machining knowledge and strong programming fundamentals is essential. You should be able to apply highly-specialized knowledge in computer systems, analysis, programming, and engineering in both theoretical and practical contexts.
