As an Engineer/Senior Engineer specializing in Transfer Automation and Finger Design, your primary responsibilities will include designing transfer fingers and all related elements in 3D using Catia-V5. You will also be responsible for preparing detailed 2D drawings and BOM for designs in standard formats. It will be crucial for you to study 2D/3D Die Layout, Process plan, Die Design requirements, and foresee potential interferences/collision issues in view of EOAT (Transfer Fingers) design. Additionally, understanding Stamping plant/press specific requirements and implementing them in the design will be essential. Your role will also involve application of various standard components from different suppliers, and interacting with different functions such as Transfer Simulation team, Die Engineers, and Plant Engineers when needed.
