CAD Engineer

You should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in EDA and CAD Softwares. As a Senior CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and improving the front-end EDA infrastructure. Your expertise in CAD tools, scripting, and ASIC design flows will be crucial in developing efficient methodologies for large-scale silicon projects. Your main responsibilities will include deploying and maintaining front-end EDA tools, developing automation scripts, optimizing Linux-based compute infrastructure, identifying CAD needs, managing version control systems, collaborating with global teams, and coordinating with EDA vendors. Additionally, you will be required to maintain project progress dashboards and track tool performance. To qualify for this role, you should hold a B.Tech/B.E in Computer Engineering, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field and have at least 7 years of experience in EDA/CAD or related disciplines. You must have at least 4 years of experience in a CAD role supporting large-scale Silicon ASIC projects with over 100M gates. Proficiency in Python, Bash, C, and Makefiles is essential, along with expertise in Linux system administration, distributed version control systems, and industry-standard CAD tools. As a successful candidate, you should be a quick learner with a proactive attitude, possess strong problem-solving skills, and excel in communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
