CAD Engineer

As a skilled professional, you will be responsible for converting customer 2D drawings to Pro-Tech/ EQI 3D and 2D drawings. Additionally, you will be required to take existing Pro-Tech/ EQI 3D designs and finalize them into 2D Pro-Tech/ EQI drawings. Furthermore, a crucial aspect of your role will involve identifying or creating Product Inspection Record (PIR) dimensions. You will undergo training to effectively recognize these dimensions. Your proficiency in SolidWorks will be essential as you troubleshoot and rectify existing or new designs using this software. Moreover, you will be responsible for updating metrics and providing progress reports to both internal and external teams. In this position, you will have the accountability for active project tasks, with updates being sourced from external systems. Additionally, you will play a supportive role to the Junior Product Engineer and Junior Quality Engineering teams, acting as a cross-trained resource. It is important to note that this role may entail other duties as assigned by the Team Leader, reflecting the dynamic nature of the responsibilities associated with this position.,
