CAD Draftsman/Designer

As a CAD & Revit Draftsman at Wowfactory, you will play a crucial role in supporting the architecture team by developing high-quality technical drawings and BIM documentation. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into accurate technical drawings, producing BIM models, coordinating drawing sets, and ensuring compliance with local codes and project requirements. Your attention to detail, proficiency in CAD and Revit, and strong knowledge of architectural detailing will be essential in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed architectural drawings, sections, elevations, and construction documents using CAD and Revit (BIM) - Translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings in coordination with the design team - Produce BIM models, coordinate drawing sets, and maintain drawing standards - Assist architects with design revisions, detailing, and document control - Ensure all drawings are compliant with local codes, regulations, and project requirements - Organize and maintain drawing files, both digital and printed - Collaborate with team members across disciplines and project phases Required Qualifications: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting Technology - 13 years of experience in architectural drafting, including working on construction documentation - Proficient in CAD and Revit (BIM) (mandatory) - Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, building materials, and construction methods - Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings - Basic understanding of local building codes and standards - Attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to deadlines - Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): - Experience working in a BIM environment and with coordination tools - Familiarity with Navisworks, SketchUp, or other 3D modeling/rendering tools - Experience with interior fit-out or facade detailing is a plus - Exposure to LEED/sustainable design documentation (optional) In addition to the exciting responsibilities and skill requirements, Wowfactory offers a creative and collaborative studio environment, mentorship and skill development opportunities, competitive compensation based on experience, and long-term career growth in a design-led practice.
