CAD Design Engineer - Doors & Frames

As a CAD Design Engineer specializing in Doors & Frames at Classic Colors and Interiors in Kochi, you will be responsible for creating detailed CAD drawings for custom door systems, frames, and hardware. Your role will involve interpreting architectural plans, customer requirements, and specifications to design tailored door solutions. Collaborating with the production team is essential to ensure that designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing shop drawings, cutting lists, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for fabrication purposes. To excel in this role, you are required to hold a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or their equivalents is necessary. Previous experience in product or component design, particularly in the door or construction products industry, is preferred. A strong understanding of structural and material properties will be advantageous in fulfilling your responsibilities effectively.
