CAD Associate

As a Jr. Architect / CAD Associate at BluEnt, you will be an integral part of the Architectural Documentation team, responsible for creating technical drawings for various structures based on architects" sketches. Your role will involve developing master plan sets, modifying base drawings with different options, and ensuring compliance with precise measurements and building codes. To succeed in this position, you must possess a strong proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and a solid understanding of architectural sketching and design principles. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze building specifications, codes, and site requirements. - Develop technical drawings from architects" sketches and specifications. - Utilize CAD software and drafting tools to create and modify architectural documents. - Prepare detailed and scaled plans for structures, foundations, and buildings based on provided data. - Draft and refine layouts, elevations, sections, and construction details. - Ensure drawings adhere to technical specifications, codes, and standards. - Review engineering drawings and designs for accuracy and compliance with guidelines. - Generate additional documentation as necessary for each project. - Coordinate with team members and supervise their drafting work when required. - Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: - Associates degree or certification in architectural drafting or a related field. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural drafting. - Experience with American design and drafting standards is preferred. - Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar). - Strong knowledge of building design, construction codes, and structural analysis. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. This is a full-time position with a work schedule from Monday to Friday. The work location is in person.,
