Job Description

Job Requirements Must have skills: Proficiency in Testing Legacy (Cable & HSTB) Set Top Boxes with in-depth Knowledge Strong knowledge of SI/PSI tables and Cable STB concepts Will work with core STB product team and Responsible for preparing various Test Cases, Environment preparation Installation of product and applications , Execution of Test Cases, Raising the bugs, Publishing the Test Reports and close coordination with development team. If required deploying the product at customer site and client support for field based validation on Android based STB. Hands on experience on Applications and STB Validation Good understanding of DTH & OTT architecture Good debugging skills and knowledge on Android OS and iOS platforms Good debugging skills in Android OS using ADB Shell, different logging methods and analysis of logs Desired skills: Working experience Linux and on debugging tools, adb, scripting , Wire Shark Test Data management tools and Defect tracking preferably knowledge on Testing Tools like Monkey Runner, CLM ,Jmeter, Wire Shark, Testopia, Bugzilla Hands on experience on testing various system level and app level applications on android including mobile applications in Multimedia framework, Data Networking, Messaging, Telephony and GUI Testing on End devices like STB. Basic knowledge on TCP/UDP, IP, HTTP Knowledge on SIP, RTSP, RTP, HLS, Media streaming, MPEG DASH, IGMP, HDCP etc. will be an added advantage Hands on experience in Scripting and Automation will be additional advantage
