Manages the respective Sourcing area and Suppliers for her/his category. Ensures Product Development is being conducted with the correct Suppliers within the Sourcing strategy and matrix in line with the On Time Delivery objective, Sustainability Roadmap, and footprint requirements. Key Responsibilities • Sources new potential suppliers, collect market and competitor activities. • Monitor performance KPI on Sourcing footprint for designated Sourcing area, OMU, Critical path (E2E Milestones) and On time Delivery performance • Executes in line with agreements made in collaborative development meetings between Design, Merchant, and Technical Services • Supports the development and management of lasting strategic supplier relationships. • Assures competitive OCS, supports for final negotiations. • Manages capacities of suppliers and production units / Manages his/her part of preproduction activities. • Manage E2E Calendar • Communicate with respective EU Merchant, Order Writing and Planning teams for post order activities (including PO amendments as applicable) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Extensive experience of local sourcing markets • Excellent technical and commercial understanding of defined product categories • Good knowledge of garment construction, costing and fabrics • Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Good numerical and good analytical skills • Understanding of financial measurements • Good self-organization and work structuring skills • Strong negotiation skills • Strong communicator • Positive forward-looking mind-set and team spirited Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications • Global Sourcing experience for around 10+ years • Leading & managing Sourcing & Product Development Teams • Relevant graduate university degree or equivalent work experience
