C++ Senior Developer with Unix & Oracle

As a C++ Senior Developer with experience in Unix & Oracle, you will be part of a proactive team in the Fintech sector that focuses on developing robust and scalable applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and modifying software enhancements and new products. - Writing technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. - Completing development tasks for various projects, testing, and debugging applications using current programming languages and technologies. - Interacting with product managers and users to define system requirements and modifications. - Participating in software design meetings and analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements. - Involvement in the modernization of applications with cloud technologies. - Completing documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. - Training and communicating with internal Client Training, Client Relationship, and Sales teams on systems application. Qualifications required for this role: - 7-10 years of IT experience with programming languages such as C/C++, UNIX, Oracle. - Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles. - Strong design and programming knowledge using C/C++ on Unix/Linux environment. - Knowledge of RDBMS/SQL such as Oracle or DB2. - Knowledge and awareness of PCI/PADSS standards. - Experience with build tools like Bit Bucket, GIT. - Familiarity with Python and Java is a plus. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to ensure application reliability, availability, and performance, minimizing downtime and optimizing response times. - Experience in incident response, including identification, triage, resolution, and post-incident analysis. - Collaboration with security teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance. - Development and testing of disaster recovery plans and backup strategies. - Managing deployment pipelines and taking ownership of end-to-end delivery. - Experience in the banking or financial services industry is advantageous.
