We are looking for an experienced Embedded Infotainment Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of infotainment systems. Your focus will be on platform upgradeability, secure software downloads, and diagnostics in a complex automotive environment. Collaboration with various teams is key to delivering robust, secure, and scalable solutions that ensure seamless software updates and system performance. As an ideal candidate, you should have strong expertise in C++ development for embedded systems, a solid understanding of embedded Linux or QNX environments, and experience in designing software download and update systems. Additionally, familiarity with Python scripting, test automation tools, automotive diagnostic protocols such as UDS and DoIP, CI tools, and automated testing frameworks is essential. Your role will involve developing and maintaining infotainment software, designing software for system upgrades, managing software download systems, developing diagnostic tools, implementing automotive diagnostic protocols, and collaborating with hardware engineers and other software developers to deliver comprehensive solutions. You will be responsible for supporting other teams in platform upgradeability design, developing and maintaining software for memory upgrades, ensuring quality through test automation, designing and optimizing software solutions for infotainment systems, and implementing and supporting diagnostic protocols. Your work will also involve collaborating across teams, conducting code reviews, writing unit tests, and participating in continuous integration processes.
