Role and Responsibilities A Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) working on the shop floor in a manufacturing organization typically has a dynamic and hands-on role. Here are some key activities and responsibilities: Assisting Senior Engineers: Working closely with experienced engineers to learn and assist in various tasks and projects. Process Monitoring: Observing and monitoring manufacturing processes to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. Quality Control: Conducting quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet the required standards. Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering data from the production line and analyzing it to identify areas for improvement Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of processes, inspections, and any issues encountered. Safety Compliance: Ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed on the shop floor. Training and Development: Participating in training sessions to enhance technical and professional skills. Project Support: Assisting in the design, development, and implementation of new projects and improvements To coordinate & participate in implementation of annual initiatives and take part in deciding its implementation strategy with seniors and team members. To ensure in process inspections are not skipped and defects data is fully captured To be watchful of wasteful usage of power and ensure timely detection of any leakages leading to poor energy utilization. To ensure that all team members deployed on shop floor are fully trained as per the processes and systems outlined in the IMS. Be aware Be aware and keep abrest with necessary changes being made in companies IMS under ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001. Escalate any disciplinary issue or safety lapses to seniors from time to time for immediate action.

Upkeep Health of Machines with Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maintain machine health. 5. Use Proven Methodology for Maintenance Excellence Apply established methodologies to drive maintenance excellence within the plant. 6. Improve MTBF vs. MTTR Work on improving Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR). 7. Reduce or Control Energy Costs Implement strategies to reduce or control energy consumption and costs. 8. Maintenance of Utility Equipment Ensure the proper maintenance of utility equipment like compressors, DG sets, and cranes. 9. Monitor and Improve Life Cycle of Critical Spare Parts Track and enhance the life cycle of critical spare parts. 10. Communication with Client Departments and Colleagues Maintain effective communication with client departments, customers, and other engineering and production colleagues. 11. Maintain & Improve Health and Safety Policies Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are maintained and improved. 12. Prepare and Submit Weekly Reports Prepare and submit weekly reports to reporting authorities and management. 13. Plan Resources for Machine Maintenance Plan and allocate resources required for machine maintenance on the shop floor. 14. Monitor & Drive Preventive Tasks Oversee a team of specialists to carry out daily preventive maintenance tasks. 15. Liaison with Government Bodies Liaise with AEN/JEN and other government bodies as required. Non-Critical Roles and Responsibilities 16. Study OEM Manuals Continuously update knowledge by studying OEM manuals. 17. Communication with Cross-Functional Teams

Sending dispatch details/Documents to all client on regular basis 4. Filing of document in relevant customers file. 5. Updating wire performance report in ERP AX post input received by team. 6. End to end dispatch planning & coordination with production / finance / Transportation for dispatch of material for domestic business. 7. Tracking payment collection post-delivery material to the client, sending material transition, transport report to sales team on daily basis. 8. Compliance of ISO audit 9. Sending payment reminder to all clients on regular basis 10. Sending monthly update on offers sent to clients 11. Clear and effective communication between customers and colleagues.
