Job Summary: ​We are looking for a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages, while also ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for all customers. This role requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient workspace. ​Key Responsibilities: ​ Beverage Preparation: ​Prepare and serve a full range of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks, following company recipes and quality standards Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment. Master various brewing methods (e.g., pour-over, drip coffee, cold brew) and latte art techniques.​ Ensure all beverages are made with precision, speed, and consistency Customer Service Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner. ​Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, offering suggestions and answering questions about menu items. Handle cash and credit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system. Address customer feedback and complaints professionally and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Café Operations Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the coffee bar, seating areas, and restrooms. ​Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring all food and beverage preparation areas are sanitary. ​Stock and restock coffee beans, milk, syrups, pastries, and other supplies as needed ​Assist with inventory management and reporting low-stock items to the manager. ​Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work atmosphere.
