Business Research Analyst Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Research Analyst to support strategic decision-making through in-depth market research, competitor analysis, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will gather, analyze, and present data-driven insights to guide business growth, operational improvements, and market opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on industry trends, market conditions, competitors, and customers. Analyze business operations, markets, and financials to identify opportunities for efficiency, expansion, or risk mitigation. Prepare clear, concise reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and senior management. Monitor and evaluate market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to the business. Support strategic planning, product development, and go-to-market strategies with relevant insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, finance, and product development. Maintain and update databases with accurate and relevant business intelligence. Evaluate the performance of existing business models and recommend improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Market Research, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, market research, or a related role. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple research projects and deliver under tight deadlines. Knowledge of industry research databases (e.g., Statista, IBISWorld, Crunchbase) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with data visualization tools. Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP). Basic knowledge of SQL or Python for data analysis (optional but a plus).
