Business Process Architect

As an SAP FICO - Business Process Architect at Colgate-Palmolive, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, designing, and implementing SAP solutions in General accounting & reporting for Colgate subsidiaries. Your expertise in global business processes within the function will be key to owning the execution of various project activities and ensuring the smooth operation of critical business processes. Collaborating with business and technical teams across different geographies will be essential for daily support incidents and project activities. Your ability to capture requirements related to business problems and transform them into solution designs will be instrumental in driving successful outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver day-to-day application support, including responding to emergencies on a 24x7 basis - Manage and perform the design, configuration, and testing of SAP and other applications for projects, upgrades, implementations, and rollouts - Maintain system performance and reliability standards by following procedures, analyzing root causes, and driving continuous improvement - Enforce global governance, project steps, and documentation - Independently engage with the business to understand requirements and recommend suitable solutions - Serve as a support coordinator, balancing resource loads and tracking SLA progress - Develop functional specifications for developers for specific custom developments - Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and changes in the world of SAP development and other technologies, adapting to these changes through self-training and research - Mentor and coach junior developer resources **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's Degree (Commerce graduates preferred), any postgraduate, CA, ICWA/CMA - Strong oral and written communication skills - Logical problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues - Flexibility and adaptability to new technologies **Additional Information:** Colgate-Palmolive is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusion where individuals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives are empowered to contribute meaningfully to the business.
