Principal responsibilities

• Work within the Finance function teams to build dashboards for the Finance and Business
• Create dashboards for Business Performance Metrics which includes Financial and Non-Financial metrics using prescribed BI tools (Qlik Sense / Looker / Tableau).
• Load data from the data sources into Reporting environment using the HSBC IT recommended architecture, development methodology and build the front-end applications.
• Create scalable dashboards incorporating regular feedback and implementing changes (in an agile approach)
• Develop Dashboards / Reports on Enterprise & Cloud Environments.
• Deploy and maintain applications in the Server and Perform user acceptance testing of the applications.
• Document the dashboard development & configuration process and train the end users on using various BI Tools.
• Provide Production Support and Maintenance for Dashboards.
• Assist/Train Dashboard SME's and Citizen developers on Qlik Sense

• Multiple years of experience within a Business Intelligence.
• 4 - 5 years plus of specific Qlik Technologies and at least 2-3 years within Qlik Sense
• Expert Qlik Sense knowledge with practical commercial experience, ideally of a large-scale implementation.
• Experience with large data sets.
• Strong all-round SQL, business intelligence and data warehousing experience.
• Agile Methodology for development
• Understanding of Finance tools (TM1, Saracen, General Ledgers FTP, HUB, Fusion) and IT processes
• Knowledge of key technical delivery aspects as well as understanding of business context / requirements
• JavaScript, CSS and JSON experience would be desirable.
• Understanding of Big Data tools like Pentaho or any other databases of large scale and ETL process.
