As an Investment Banking Analyst in the Investment Research department based in Mumbai, you will report to the Head of Research. Your key responsibilities will include client management by meeting and surpassing client expectations and interacting directly with clients. In terms of delivery management, you will be expected to independently deliver a variety of research assignments across M&A, Equity/Debt Capital Markets, and Advisory. This includes tasks such as equity/credit modeling, company tear sheets, industry research, pitchbooks, peer comps, precedent transaction comps, M&A valuations, and news & impact analysis. You will also be responsible for delivering private company valuations for PE/VC clients, advisory firms, companies, and start-ups to ensure 100% client satisfaction. Moreover, you will provide support on collaterals and samples, contribute towards marketing and thought leadership content, and participate in business development and organization development activities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a graduate/post-graduate degree from a reputed institution and possess over 3 years of investment banking/equity research experience with investment banks, sell-side firms, or KPOs. Your hands-on experience should cover areas such as equity modeling/valuation, initiation coverage notes, investment idea generation, industry research, pitchbooks, peer comps, precedent transaction comps, and M&A valuation. Proficiency in financial/cash flow modeling, analytical writing, idea generation, and specialization in multiple industries are desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, proven client management experience, and familiarity with 3rd party databases are essential requirements. Additionally, you should be a strong team player with professional ethics and business etiquettes.,
