About the Role
As a Business Development Intern, you'll work closely with the founder and gain hands-on experience in business research, lead generation, client outreach, and sales. This role offers an opportunity to work on real business opportunities, share ideas, take initiative, and understand how a growing business develops its client base.

We're looking for someone with an ownership mindset who is eager to learn, takes responsibility for their work, and is willing to step outside their comfort zone.

Freshers are welcome to apply! Previous experience in sales, lead generation, or outreach is an advantage but not mandatory. We value curiosity, consistency, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Research D2C brands, e-commerce businesses, and potential markets to identify prospective clients.
• Identify decision-makers and reach out to them through LinkedIn, email, and phone calls.
• Draft professional outreach messages, manage follow-ups, and help coordinate meetings with potential clients.
• Maintain lead databases, outreach trackers, and communication records using Google Sheets or Excel.
• Research competitors, industry trends, and potential business opportunities.
• Work closely with the founder, contribute ideas, and take ownership of assigned business development activities.

• Has a genuine interest in business development, sales, and understanding how businesses grow.
• Is proactive, takes initiative, and doesn't wait for instructions at every step.
• Has an ownership mindset and follows through on assigned responsibilities.
• Is comfortable approaching new people and willing to learn professional outreach.
• Has good verbal and written communication skills.
• Has strong research, organisational, and follow-up skills.
• Is open to feedback, willing to learn from mistakes, and comfortable working independently.
• Has basic knowledge of Google Sheets or MS Excel.

Location requirement: Applicants must currently be based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This is a remote position, so work can be performed from home; however, candidates must be located in Mumbai.
