Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, goal-oriented, and client-focused Business Development Executive to drive growth across our lab testing, certification, and gemology education services in Mumbai. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong B2B relationships with jewelry manufacturers, wholesalers, and retail jewellers, and promote our specialized training programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition & B2B Sales: Prospect, approach, and onboard new clients, including retail jewelers, gemstone dealers, diamond merchants, and trade professionals across key trade hubs.
• Service Promotion: Market ACGS’s complete portfolio of services, gemstone identification lab reports, and professional educational courses.
• Lead Generation & Conversion: Generate, track, and convert qualified business leads for lab testing volume packages and gemology course enrollments.
• Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact with existing client accounts to ensure client retention, repeat testing orders, and strong long-term partnerships.
• Market Intelligence: Gather insights on market trends, competitor activities, and industry demands within Mumbai's gems and jewelry sector.
• Reporting & Targets: Achieve monthly targets for Testing Services, maintaining systematic records of sales activities and client pipelines.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Graduate degree in any discipline (B.Com, B.A., B.Sc., BBA, or equivalent).
• Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English, Marathi, and Gujarati (spoken and written communication capabilities are essential to interact smoothly with Mumbai's trade community).
• Experience: Prior experience in sales, business development, field marketing, or client relationship management (experience in gems, jewelry, and educational marketing is a strong advantage.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills with a persuasive personality.
• Self-Motivated: Strong drive to achieve performance milestones and earn high incentive payouts.

Work Structure & Remuneration

• Structure: Retainership Model (Fixed Monthly Retainer)
• Incentive Scheme: Highly attractive, performance-linked commission/incentive structure tied directly to business volume generated and enrollment targets achieved.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
