Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and customer-focused Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The Café Manager will be responsible for leading the team, maintaining high standards of food and service quality, optimizing profitability, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily café operations to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional customer service. Hire, train, schedule, and manage café staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen team. Monitor inventory levels and manage supply ordering to reduce waste and avoid shortages. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Handle customer feedback and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Manage cash flow, POS systems, daily sales reports, and reconcile daily financial transactions. Implement strategies to increase sales, improve customer retention, and attract new business. Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the café, including front of house and kitchen areas. Work with marketing or social media teams to promote specials, events, or new menu items. Train staff on service excellence, menu knowledge, and upselling techniques. Qualifications: Proven experience as a café manager, restaurant supervisor, or similar role. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Basic financial knowledge (budgeting, cost control, P&L analysis). Proficient in using POS systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Food safety or hygiene certification is a plus. Preferred Skills: Barista or specialty coffee experience. Ability to train and motivate a young and dynamic team. Conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities. Passion for food, coffee, and hospitality.
