Key Responsibilities Fleet Management : Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and disposal of company vehicles. Implement and enforce vehicle inspection and maintenance schedules to ensure roadworthiness and safety. Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Coordination : Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation solutions. Route Planning & Scheduling : Develop and optimize transportation routes to ensure efficiency and minimize travel time. Schedule and dispatch vehicles for staff transportation, patient transportation, and other organizational needs. Documentation & Compliance : Ensure all shipping documents are properly filed and compliant with company policies and shipping legislation. Maintain accurate transportation records and logs. Cost Management : Monitor fuel consumption, implement fuel efficiency measures, and manage fuel costs effectively. Research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods. Safety & Training : Conduct regular safety audits on equipment. Organize training sessions for employees on proper use of machines and handling of hazardous materials. Team Leadership : Supervise and train staff, including drivers and logistics personnel. Address and resolve any transportation-related issues, such as delays, accidents, or customer complaints. Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the electroplating plant's production operations, coordinating the operations team, developing and implementing production plans, schedules, and analyzing production data to maintain quality and efficiency.
