Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Operation Engineer located in Bengaluru. The IT Operation Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing IT operations, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining system administration tasks. The role involves ensuring the reliability and security of IT infrastructure and optimizing performance. IT Operations Engineer: Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage end-to-end IT operations, ensuring system reliability, performance, and compliance. • Handle internal and external audits, including evidence collection, documentation, and remediation activities. • Administer access management processes and tools, ensuring proper user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control. • Manage and support identity and access platforms such as Okta, JumpCloud, Jamf, VMware Workspace ONE, or equivalent solutions. • Maintain and troubleshoot issues related to both macOS and Windows operating systems. • Provide day-to-day technical support and issue resolution for hardware, software, and networking concerns. • Ensure effective asset management, including inventory tracking, lifecycle management, and compliance with company policies. • Apply basic networking knowledge for diagnosing and resolving connectivity and performance issues. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and service improvements. Qualifications: • Proven experience in IT operations, access management, and audit support. • Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with identity and device management tools (Okta, Jamf, VMware WS1, etc.). • Solid understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, VPNs, etc.). • Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting both Mac and Windows systems. • Experience with IT asset management tools and best practices. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Good to have MDM certifications.
